Charbel Azzi is the Head of Sales, Pharmacy and Institutional. Charbel leads the national Key Account teams responsible for driving business development opportunities with key customer groups positioning Viatris as a partner of choice.
Charbel joined Viatris 16 years ago and has since gone from strength-to-strength in his career, continually progressing and expanding his experience across the Sales, Marketing & Commercial Excellence departments, most recently holding the position of Head of Business Development, Strategic Partnerships & Sourcing.
Prior to being Head of Business Development, Charbel was Marketing Manager for Generic Medicines at Mylan, where he was responsible for all aspects of strategic direction, corporate branding and product management across a wide portfolio of medicines.
Working closely with supply chain, commercial, business development, medical, regulatory and sales, Charbel led a team responsible for executing strategic initiatives to deliver market share growth through customer retention and acquisition.
Charbel also previously worked at Alphapharm, as Regional Business Manager, where he was responsible for achieving sales targets by successfully launching new products and driving market share growth, and leading a cross-functional team of Sales Representatives, Pharmacy Development Specialists, business development managers and Hospital Specialist Representatives.
