ACCESS:
Our aim is to bring new medicines to market and make them affordable to all Australians. Our local capacity, supply chain and distribution network mean we are well placed to ensure our medicines are readily available to Australians, wherever they are, when they need them.
We have a broad portfolio in Australia with over 1000 registered products, 900 of which are delivered directly through our warehouse. These include key innovation products, prescription and OTC medicines - both branded and generics. Our manufacturing facility in Queensland produces billions of doses of medicine every year. In 2022, we supplied medicines to approximately 1 billion patients globally.
LEADERSHIP:
We promote health policy discussion in Australia that recognises the importance of scientific innovation, as well as the need to make medicines affordable and accessible to patients who need them. We believe it’s important to contribute to ongoing debate to help shape the health system we want for the future.
Our local manufacturing capability, from our origins as generic manufacturer Alphapharm, allows us to produce and supply high quality medicines for Australia as well as for export. Two thirds of the medicines we supply in Australia are manufactured within our global network and at Carole Park, Queensland meaning we can respond with speed and agility to address the healthcare needs of the country.
PARTNERSHIP:
We partner with the doctors, pharmacists, health professional organisations, the Federal Government, patient groups and other business partners in Australia to help bring affordable high-quality medicines to Australians and support education on their appropriate use. We also work with wholesalers and pharmacies to provide insights to improve their business management.
